Welcome
About Leslie Gilmore
After coming to the
Outer Banks in 1995, I bought a lot in Corolla and had a beautiful
vacation rental built. Before I moved to the Outer Banks, I used
to sit at my desk in Washington DC and imagine standing on the
beach in Corolla right at the point where the water meets the
shore. I could literally feel the sand under my feet. After being
an absentee owner for a few years, I gave in to temptation and
moved to the Outer Banks from Alexandria, Virginia.
In 2002, I opened my own real estate brokerage, Exit Outer Banks
Realty. After 2 years in business, we have grown to over 15 agents.
As of the first quarter of 2004, we rank number 6 in buyer agency
sales out of 145 offices reporting sales through our board of
REALTORS.
My educational background includes Bachelor’s Degrees from
Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio and Mount Vernon College in
Washington, DC. I am currently a licensed real estate broker in
NC and am active in our local board of REALTORS, serving on the
Grievance and Education committees.
I am committed to the business of real estate and providing excellent
service to my clients so that my business continues to grow. I
love the Outer Banks and helping other people find the right Outer
Banks property. For most of the people I work with, having their
own Outer Banks home has been a life-long dream. I understand
that because before I built my Outer Banks vacation home, I felt
the same way.
Moving to the beach has been a blessing for me. If you are considering
moving here full time, I highly recommend it. If you’re
wondering what you would do for work, you could join me here at
Exit Outer Banks Realty...
